Don't know what happened but I think since yesterday I started getting error message when opening one pdf document with the help of Adobe Reader

ERROR 'A font contains a bad cmap-encoding'.

I am not too familiar with Adobe Reader actually, so you may have to give me step-by-step instructions.

Anyone have any idea how to open this document?

It is recommended to deal with the present scenario with the following tactics:

  • Get the latest version of Adobe Reader and install it on your computer with most recent updates. Now, try opening the damaged PDF file with the new version.
  • If you still cannot open PDF file upload it here https://onlinefile.repair/en/pdf.html

Does it fail to open? Or does it open, then give the message? You can't fix any problems with Reader.
