Abode Acrobat Freezes when trying to use scale drawings/schematics

Hello

I am an I.T Support Technician and I have an issue here at the company I work for. Basically a user is trying to open scale drawings and schematics of electrical cabling/water mains etc and when they try to open them in Acrobat it freezes and she is forced to shut down. I have run through a multitude of fixes and solutions, (updates, repairing installation, purging cache, adding folder to whitelist, etc) and nothing has worked. Before the pdf opens there is an error message stating "cannot find or create the swiss 721BT-light font" etc and I wondered if the font does not exist in Windows and as such is causing this conflict..Any help you can provide would be much appreicated.

Best Regards

Simon

If you are the creator (or work with) of the PDF,  you may be able to enable font embedding in the PDF creation process, which (in theory) should eliminate this error.  Still, it should not prohibit Acrobat from running/opening the file.  Have you tested the PDF on other machines?  Can you share the file so others can see how it behaves on their installations?

My best,

Dave
