Question

About Microsoft Visual C++ runtime error

We want to install Adobe Reader on Windows 11 Pro, but after installation, every time we run Adobe Reader for the first time after booting up, this error message pops up. Although we can close it, it's very annoying.

We've tried installing Microsoft Visual C++, reinstalling Adobe, and using Adobe Cleaner, but none of these worked. Are there any other solutions?

@ts_3274 I would ensure you have the absolute latest update is key, as the one you are running may have a bug that a newer patch has fixed. You can usually check for the latest update directly inside the app by going to Help > Check for Updates.

Yes, I selected Windows 11 and English, and tried to install both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions, but this error message appeared.
