Accessibility issues with digital signatures.

Question

I am currently experienceing issues with digital signatures applied to accessible documents. Once the signer has signed the document it becomes locked and the digital signature block is showing as an untagged annotation error. Usually I would simply going and tag the annotation but with the signature applied the entire document is locked. Does anyone have any idea how to resolve this issue?

If you have a copy of the original document (without the signature applied and locked), open the "Prepare Form" tool, right-click on the signature field and select "Properties" from the context menu. Go to the "Sign" tab and see if there's any action in that section that makes the entire document read-only.

This setting should appear defaulted to "Nothing happens" when the signature is applied.
