Accessibility Tagging tool

The accessibility tagging tool in Adobe Acrobat Pro does not highlight any items/content on the screen when I click a tag - which it used to do just ago, highlighting them in a purple box. No matter what I tried - even the ones that are suggested some people from adobe, it did not work. I had to take a close look at the current tags and contents from the pages so that I could make sense of what they are and manually tag/untag/retag them. By the way, the automatic tagging still works, and the contents are being highlighted when clicked through the reading order or page content in the panel on the right-hand side. Please can someone share a solution to this? I am currently doing accessibility audits and the deadline is soon.

Is Show Page Content Groups turned on in the Reading Order tool (see my orange highlight)?

    Hey Pariah,

Thanks for trying to help me out with it. Yes, the “Show page content groups” is on - you can see it in the screenshot I attached. I turned it on and off but still did not work.

This still works for me - and I checked with both New and Old (or “better”) Acrobat user interfaces. Which version of Acrobat are you using? Is this on Windows or Mac, and, are you using the new or the old user interface? If you don’t know which one, check the “View” menu, do you see “Disable new Acrobat” or “Enable new Acrobat”?

When I click “About Adobe Acrobat” this is the version I see:

And yes, I do see “Disable New Acrobat”. Should I disable the new version of Adobe Acrobat? Is it what causes this issue?

I disabled new Acrobat, didn’t work that way. Then, I enabled it but still continued not to work. I also uninstalled and reinstalled it, however, it did not work either. One of my colleagues is also facing the same issue and he also tried everything but nothing worked.
