Acrobat 2017 slows my Mac

Question

Hi, recently when working with several pdfs on Acrobat 2017, my Mac is slowed down. Only restart solves the issue.

Slow down means that when I type anywhere the letters appear slower than I type and it slows my work.

Restarting my Mac stops my work and afterwords I have to restore the list of docs I was working on, loosing more time.

Can anyone give me a solution?
