Acrobat 2024 (Win) will not apply my security preset favorites

Since Acrobat was updated to the new 2024 version this weekend (I did not choose to do it, it was automatic) I can no longer click on a security preset saved as a favorite and have it apply to my document. I have to go into "manage security policies" choose the preset there and then apply it. I want my one click security back! Anyone know what this problem could be and if I'm going to have to create them again and make sure over 100 employees create them again (when it took forever to teach them to do it the first time) and understand that security is not being applied when they click on their presets now?
