Acrobat 2024 Won't Install on macOS 12.7.6: Inconsistency Between Documentation and Actual Behavior

Issue

System: Intel iMac, macOS 12.7.6 (Build 21H1320)
Error: Error 136 during Acrobat 2024 installation - stops at 45%
Log Message: "The current operating system version is not supported. The software can only be installed on computers with macOS 12.0 or later."

The Problem Is Not Technical, It's Communication

According to installation logs (APROInstaller.log), the Acrobat 2024 PKG explicitly refuses to install on macOS 12.7.6, claiming the system is not supported.

However:

Italian documentation — Adobe.com/it — continues to list macOS 12.x as supported for Acrobat 2024
US documentation — Adobe.com/en-us — has removed Monterey support from the official page
On this same computer, until 10 days ago, Acrobat 2024 was fully functional without any issues
On other company computers, Creative Cloud continues to work normally on macOS 12.7.6

The Questions

If macOS 12.7.6 is no longer supported, why has the Italian documentation not been updated?
If this is a compatibility issue, why was the application still working perfectly until 10 days ago without any system updates on my end?
If support has been permanently discontinued, why isn't this clearly and uniformly communicated across all Adobe sites (Italian and international)?
The installation fails in the PKG installer, not in the software itself — this suggests a technical solution is possible, not a hardware limitation.

Business Impact

This inconsistency creates:

Uncertainty: I don't know if this is a temporary or permanent issue
Confusion: Conflicting information between Adobe sites
Frustration: The software was working, now it won't work with no clear explanation
Fragmented support: If the website says it's supported but the installer says otherwise, where do I turn for help?

Request for Clarity

I'm asking for official clarification:

Is macOS 12.7.6 supported or not for Acrobat 2024? With a specific end-of-support date, if applicable.
Why do Italian and US documentation diverge?
Is there a technical solution for this PKG error on Monterey, or is this a deliberate block?

Thank you for your attention. I'm available to share complete logs and technical details with the Adobe support team.

    Hi @MARIA+CAROLINAARR

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble.

I checked your Adobe account linked with the Adobe ID you are using on this community and found an active plan for Acrobat Pro.

What happens when you try to install the application on your system? Do you get any error message? If yes, please share the screenshot of the same or a small video recording of the steps you are taking and the issue as it occurs for more clarity.

In the meantime, please check the steps shared in the help page https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/desktop/troubleshoot/install-update-issues/acrobat-installation-errors.html and see if that helps.
