[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\Word\Addins\PDFMaker.OfficeAddin]
"LoadBehavior"=dword:00000003
...
Registry Key wurde erstellt
bShowOfficeWarn

mst wurde bearbeitet mit Eintrag:
Property: DISABLE_PDFMAKER_WARNINGS
Die Meldung erscheint immer wieder obwohl eine Überprüfung mit script ergibt, daß alle Plugins aktiviert sind.

@Lotsch367898772vwk wow??! Acrobat 4.0 Teams? Wow??!

Adobe Acrobat 4.0 was released in April 1999, making it over 25 years old. 26 YEARS OLD! This version was designed for operating systems like Windows 98, Windows 2000, and early versions of Windows XP, and for Office suites from that era. Trying to force it to integrate seamlessly with modern applications like Microsoft Office on Windows 11 in 2025 is like trying to run software designed for a flip phone on a modern smartphone – the underlying architectures, security models, and APIs are fundamentally different.

The "PDFMaker plug-in disabled" message is a direct symptom of this incompatibility. Even if you manually set registry keys or modify MST files, the core problem is that the 1999-era plug-in simply isn't designed to properly communicate with or embed itself into a contemporary version of Microsoft Office running on Windows 11. The operating system and Office applications have advanced so much that the old plug-in's code no longer understands how to integrate correctly, leading to this persistent warning.

Therefore, the solution for your company is to upgrade Adobe Acrobat to a current, supported version. Bite the bullet—This would typically mean subscribing to Adobe Acrobat Pro DC (Document Cloud), which is regularly updated to ensure compatibility with the latest versions of Windows and Microsoft Office. Continuing to try and force a 25-year-old application to work with modern systems will be a constant source of frustration, security vulnerabilities (as it receives no updates), and lost productivity. Upgrading will resolve the PDFMaker issue and provide access to all the modern features and security patches necessary for a stable workflow.
