Acrobat 7.0 Professional

I obtained this item and registered it on May 23, 2005. Due to computer changes and re-installations including this version of Acrobat, I am now getting the message to ACTIVATE the software. In my account profile, registration is noted, so why am I being asked again to ACTIVATE, and when I try via telephone (discontinued phone #'s) and via internet my answer is: "Activation was unsuccessful because the activation server is not available at this time."

 

Question: Has Adobe abandonned this version? If not, how does one re-activate a legitimate, all be it an old friend?

Has Adobe abandonned this version?  Short answer:  Yes.  It is no longer supported.  When you reinstall the software you need to activate it but the activation system has been closed down.
