Acrobat 8 acivation [Acrobat 8 is dead]

I have Acrobat 8.0 which has always worked great. Moved over to a new laptop, and now it won't let me activate the SW. Forum says activation server was turned off, and to contact customer support to get activated. Customer support says post to the Support Community.

Can anyone help?

I am very sorry if someone in Adobe Customer Support sent you here for assistance. These communities cannot help you with any activation or software download issues. The agent should have passed you along to a supervisor who did know how to assist you.

That having been said, if you have a “new” laptop and it is running anything beyond Windows XP (which I am sure it is) and really ancient versions of Microsoft Office applications, even if you can coerce an installer of Acrobat 8.1 to actually install software under any reasonably modern version of Windows, it will be somewhat crippled in terms of functionality. To fully and properly install and run Acrobat under current versions of Windows, you really need either Acrobat DC (subscription) or Acrobat 2017 (perpetual license, but limited updates).

No, we can't help. Adobe can provide you with an installer. We can't.

However, Acrobat 8 is very old and not compatible with any current OS, so problems are to be expected.

If Acrobat 8 came with CS3 try this link Non-Activation version of CS3 https://helpx.adobe.com/gr_en/creative-suite/kb/cs3-product-downloads.html

If Acrobat 8 came with CS2 it is completely dead
