Acrobat 8 pro not responding [Acrobat 8 is dead]
I followed the instructions to get a new serial number for Acrobat Pro 8, and installed it. Upon launch, hitting any menu item results in "Not responding". My operating system is Windows 10, 64 bit.

Sorry for the delay in response.
As you are experiencing an issue with activation of Adobe Acrobat 8, it may be because the activation server for this version had to be retired.
Please refer the steps mentioned in this help link Activation or connection error when starting CS3 or Acrobat 8 to reactivate your Adobe Acrobat 8 application.
