Several months ago I managed to change my "Typewriter Tool" font to red.  Now I need it back to black and I have not had any luck changing it back.  Any suggestions on how I change my "Typewriter Tool" font back to black?

You're using a very old version so it's hard to give exact instructions, but try clicking the text using the tool and see if it lets you edit its color. If so then right-click it using Object Select tool and look for something like "Make Properties Default".

Thanks for the advice but I've tried that and I never get any color options.

Hi Jim,

Can you give us a screen shot of the Typewriter toolbar in Acrobat 8 so we can remember what it looked like?

Acrobat 8 was released in 2006 and support ended in 2011, including security patches. There have been four versions since, and some of us have forgotten.

Is there a color swatch you can click on?
