Question

Acrobat 9 to 9.1

Hello All- I have had Acrobat 9 for years and would like to understand how I can update it to 9.1.  As I understand it, 9.1 eliminates the security vulnerability.  I'd like to be able to do this instead of spending a boatload of money on a new package.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

Thanks in advance.

Ed

The updates for Acrobat 9 for Windows are all available here:

ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/acrobat/win/9.x/

You should install all of them.

Wow, it seems that Chrome doesn't load FTP sites by default any longer... So strange.

To change it go to chrome://flags/#enable-ftp and change the setting to Enabled, then click on Relaunch and try it again. What a weird setting.

If you are concerned about security vulnerabities, you need to get up to date. There have been dozens of security fixes, perhaps hundreds, since the final update to 9. It's subscription based now, so it's a lot of small boats.
