Acrobat Adobe Pro 2017 Reinstall

Adobe Support Community,

 

I recently needed to reinstall Adobe Acrobat Pro 2017 on my tower. After installation when I double click the Acrobat icon the program opens and closes until i reboot my computer. I have tried to reinstall several times but unfortuneately the same thing happens.

 

Hopefully someone has run into this before and can help me out.

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described the application opens and closes when you double click on Acrobat icon.

 

Please try to create a new test user profile with full admin rights in Windows or enable the root account in MAc and try using the application there and check.

 

If it still doesn't work, please remove the application using the Acrobat cleaner tool - https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/cleaner.html , reboot the computer and reinstall the application using the link - https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/acrobat-2017-downloads.html
