Hello,

I would like that in acrobat, when I do “save as” / “PDF with reduced file size”, acrobat could save it using distiller with the minimal file size. How to do it ?

Because actually I am obliged to save my PDF in postcript, then open distiller and choose “minimal file size”.

In Adobe Acrobat Pro, you will find it as “File>Save As Other>Optimized PDF”

Using Distiller to reduce the size of a PDF is a bad idea. “Refrying” a PDF (as we call printing and distilling a PDF to another PDF) will also destroy other information in your PDF file because those features don’t have an equivalent in PostScript.
To preserve your PDF, it’s much better to come up with settings for the PDF optimizer that will give you the size you want.

Where to find the “PDF optimizer” you are talking about ?
