Acrobat background processes preventing saving/opening

Hello,

Our IT group has run into an issue with users who primarily use Acrobat. When they are working in the application, they will run into issues where they cannot do a Save As for a document as the window that shows the available locations only opens as a grey box. There are also issues where even as Acrobat is closed these background processes will still run, and if there are too many then Adobe Acrobat will not reopen (whether it be from a PDF or the .exe). These multiple background processes are a symptom of both of these issues. I have made sure that people are updated and the current version we have is 24.001.20643. I have also done uninstalls and reinstalls with different versions (64bit & 32bit) and the results have been the same. I have searched the community for related issues but decided to bite the bullet for further assistance. Please let me know if this is a known issue with a resolution OR if the problem is being investigated.

We fixed the issue with the upcoming releases. Would you mind letting us know if your users still experience the issue with the latest version (2024.005.20320)?
