acrobat build: 25.1.20577.0 mac osx 15.6 sequoia

hallo ins rund der adobe-community,

 

es läßt sich mal wieder nicht aus acrobat ausdrucken. die software ist nicht gerade günstig, so sollte man erwarten können, dass wenigstens die grundlegenden funktionen ohne probleme laufen.

 

acrobat neu installiert, drucker neu installiert, drucker vom strom genommen nicht bringt den audruck ins ausgabefach. alle anderen programme haben keine probleme auszudrucken. habe ein kleine video angehängt, die zu druckende datei taucht kurz in der warteliste auf, der drucker zuckt kurz, das war es.

 

hat irgend jemand eine idee?

@optophon  I am just guessing here, connecting Adobe Document Cloud to the HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M281fdw for direct printing isn't a direct one-to-one integration in the way you might be thinking. There isn't a specific "Adobe Document Cloud" option you can enable directly on the printer's control panel to link the two services. The primary way to facilitate cloud printing with theM281fdw is through the HP Smart app. This app, available on desktop and mobile, allows you to connect your printer to various cloud services like Google Drive and Dropbox. Adobe Document Cloud isn't a natively listed service within the HP Smart app for direct synchronization, you can still use the app to access files stored in other cloud services and then print them. With Adobe Document Cloud, your files are stored and synced across devices. The easiest way to print from Document Cloud to your HP printer is by using the Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Reader software on your computer or mobile device. danke für ihre antwort. aber es liegt wohl ein mißverständnis vor, ich will nicht aus der cloud drucken, sondern direkt von meinem macbook aus, auf dem auch die dokumente gespeichert sind. ich benutze acrobat dc, eine software die ich im abo monatlich bezahle, nun soll ich mir eine kostenfreie softwareversion laden, um drucken zu können?

From your description: Adobe Acrobat DC version 25.1.20577.0 on macOS 15.6 Sequoia, where documents briefly appear in the print queue but fail to print—despite other apps working fine.

Solution: 

Check Printer Permissions and Defaults

    • Go to System Settings > Printers & Scanners and ensure your printer is set as the default.
    • Remove and re-add the printer to refresh its configuration.

Reset Acrobat's Preferences: 

  • Quit Acrobat. Restart the machine. 
  • Navigate to:
    ~/Library/Preferences/Adobe Acrobat/
    
  • Rename or delete the folder (e.g., Acrobat DC) to reset preferences. Restart Acrobat and try printing again.

Disable Advanced Printing Features

    • In Acrobat, go to Menu> Print > Advanced.
    • Uncheck "Print as Image" and "Advanced Printing Features".
    • Try printing again.

Check printer drivers for Sequoia compatibility
Even if macOS auto-installs a driver, some older drivers don’t fully support new OS versions. Download the latest driver directly from the printer manufacturer.

Also, please ensure you have the latest version of Acrobat and the operating system installed. Check for any pending updates of Acrobat from the Menu > help > check for updates, install the updates, restart the app and the machine, and try again.

 

For testing purposes, create a test user profile with full admin rights, and try printing. Let us know how it goes.
