Acrobat can not open pdf files or extract pdfs from a large pdf to a OneDrive folder.

  1. Recently when using Acrobat with Windows 11 I could not open some of the .pdf files in a shared OneDrive folder. The error message is uninformative. Browsers can do this OK.
  2. After weeks of everything working well I can not now extract pdf pages from a large pdf and save them directly to a shared OneDrive folder.  It is however possible to extract them first to a local folder and then copy them using Windows to the OneDrive folder!

These problems are independent of hardware. The same problems arise with a laptop at work and a desktop at home.

    working directly with onedrive files as if they were local files has always been iffy for all adobe apps.  it’s recommended you up and download onedrive files so the adobe apps is working on local files.
