Acrobat CC "bugged"

Hi,

A few weeks ago my Acrobat DC started notifying me of updates. I tried updating it every now and then, always ended with a failure, or lack of. It gets to 1% and the text disappears. I tried removing it via the CC app. Same story. I tried un-install the CC app, it can't, because Acrobat is installed.

I then tried force removing it, and then cleaning the registry afterwards. 2 folders still reside in the Acrobat DC folder. Both containing fonts. Why fonts are located there is beyong my level of understanding, since Windows has a service for that. Nevertheless, I am in a situation where I can not open, update, remove Acrobat DC. I even tried "AdobeCreativeCloudCleanerTool.exe" to no avail, since it doesn't register Acrobat DC as being installed.

I am left with what I see as one option: Re-install my computer.

I hope Adobe has a better option. Because re-installing my computer because of fonts in a folder where it doesn't make sense is again, beyond my level of perception.

Getting the app installer directly from Adobe CC seems to have worked. I still can't understand why fonts are not located in c:\Windows\Fonts

EDIT: No dice. I can not open the app. Nothing happens.

Thank you! That seems to have done the trick.

I do find it peculiar how often I have had issues installing Adobe apps.
