Acrobat Combine - Combining stops at 95% progress

I had no problems with combining files until maybe 3 months ago when all combining attempts stop at around 95%. The combine just hangs there. Adding up all the individual pages would only be aroung 5Mb. If I combine 3-4 pages, the combine successfully completes. Anything more than that, then this 95% hang issue arises. Is anyone else having this issue and does anyone know of a solution? I've updated the app and I've also tried reinstalling the app, but this issue persists. Thank you.

Thank you for teaching out, and sorry about the trouble caused.

For testing, please create 5 to 6 test PDFs with a single page and combine them to see if you still experience the issue. Check if the file combines without any issues.

Please let us know if you combine files from a particular source or network. Could you please share the few files in which the issue occurs? Also, please share the Acrobat and OS version numbers in use. We will try to reproduce the behavior.

In the meantime, please try to combine files on the Acrobat web account and see if that helps.

Hello Meenakshi. I'm sorry for taking so long to get back to you. Work is busy. I did a test today. I took single pages and combined them. First just 2, then 3, then 4, up to 6 single pages and they all combined without issue. Then I started to add some 2-4 page files to these single pages and they, too, all combined without issue. Then I added a 7-page file and the combine stopped at 95% and just couldn't finish. The app would hang so I'd have to close and restart the app. After reopening, I tried combining the smaller pages again (1-4) and now it just stops at 95%. After this 95% result happens, some files that had no problems being combined now can't even be read by Adobe when I put it in the Combine window - some red box message about format not readable. If I combine single pages, no problem. The bigger or the more files I try to combine, there's a chance of stopping at 95%. I have already tried rebooting my computer and reinstalled Adobe. This issue persists. The files I normally need to combine can range from 1-50+. Thank you. (Sorry, I cannot give you the files I'm using to test this due to HIPAA.)

I tried the Acrobat web combine and the same problem is there, too.
