Acrobat - Combining files

I have Acrobat Pro DC on both my laptop and my desktop. When I use the combine files tool on my laptop, Acrobat works the way it is supposed to. It combines the files into a binder.  When I use the combine tool on my desktop it doesn't create binders, it creates "portfolios" and doesn't do what the combine tool does on my laptop.  How do I get Acrobat on my desktop to work the way it does on my laptop?

Thanks,

Gary

In the Combine Files dialog click the Options button and change the File Type setting from "Portfolio" to "Single PDF".
