Question

Acrobat community, the Adobe extension is blocking files in Chrome and Edge

When the adobe extension is active in Chrome or Edge, I can’t download pdf files.  In Edge, there is a Valid Certificate error even though the padlock on the page says the certificate is valid.  On Chrome, it just says there is an error.  All apps are updated and reinstalled.  This has been going on for awhile.  When I turn off the extension, the file will download and become visible as an ashx file.

I will add it’s a particular site.  I’ve spent quite some time changing settings to make it work but I can’t.

Any ideas?

Thanks

    Hi @BHunt304 ,

Would you be able to share the URL fo that particular site where such PDFs files are downloaded from?

Otherwise, could you please describe in more detail what other things interact with Edge and Chrome web browsers (i.e. operating system, default PDF app, Acrobat Pro version).

Are these tax forms? Or a website that export a web format to a PDFs before it is downloaded (just curious).
