Acrobat crashes when starting

Good Morning!

 

I've been having some issues with getting Acrobat re-downloaded to my PC. I've un-installed, restarted my PC and then re-installed the program and everytime I try to open the program it crashes before it opens. When I look in the event viewer, it has logged an application error:

I'm not sure what to do to get this to actually work again. Any help is greatly appreciated!

    @S. S When I went into the settings, that option was already enabled, and unfortunately it still isn't opening, crashing before it opens. 


    @S. S Actually, it turns out I just needed to disable that setting. Unchecking compatability mode got it to work!!

    Would you mind updating the app to the latest version (2024.003.20054) and letting us know if you still experience the issue?

    To update, go to Menu-> Help-> Check for updates.

     

    If you still experience the issue, please help us gather the logs from your machine: https://adobe.ly/478bloW. Please make sure Procmon is selected. You can upload logs using this tool and share your Unique log ID with us.
