Acrobat cuts off right side and bottom of PDFs

As the title suggests, my PDFs are being cut off at the edges. This is relatively recent issue -- started maybe  two or three months ago..? My guess is that an update caused it.

I use Microsoft Visio for designing floor plans and I print to PDFs a LOT. That's how I get information to my customers and my installation team. Recently what has been happening is that my PDFs are being clipped off at the right and bottom edges, like overscan on a TV. It's a big problem for me.

At first I thought it was only when creating new PDFs, but now I see it on other people's computers too with years-old PDFs. It only seems to happen with the larger ones like Arch D and ANSI E.

Adobe...what's going on?

I just had this same problem.  Yesterday, I had saved Visio files to PDFs without a problem.  So I went back through my day to figure out what I might have changed, and I realized I had changed my Windows 10 "zoom" level for a web presentation.  This is found by right clicking on the desktop and choosing "Display Settings."  I had changed it from 125% to 100%.  After I changed it back to 125%, all my PDFs saved correctly again.

I don't know if this will work for everyone, but at least it worked for me.  Good luck!

Hi

In the PDF, go to File > Properties > Description. What does it say in the area for the creation program?

Hi Jane,

I'm sorry, I was on vacation. I can't find anything in the area you described, but I can tell you that the PDF was created out of Microsoft Visio.

Visio has two options for creating PDFs - Save As and Print. Each of them cause different problems and it's a big problem for my workflow right now.

Save As cuts the edges off as described in my original post.

Print causes any photos in the document with transparency to be complete invisible.

These are both new problems as of a few months ago.

I have attached a screen shot of the document properties for your reference.

I am having the exact same problem with the exact same application converting Visio drawings to PDFs.  I've been doing this for years and never have had an issue until recently.

I didn't see the fix in this conversation.

Any guideance please?
