acrobat DC 12.0 heavy downloading (daily)

hey,

we have a single pc running DC 12.0

the machine it is installed on has proxy access and everyday is attempting to download 1gb from adobe servers.

as the user does not have install rights they installations can not complete and the download cycle starts again.

i have disabled the adobe update service and also switched off auto update in the application itself.

has anyone else come across this and what did you do to stop the heavy downloading?

to test it was acrobat i moved the license from one pc to another and the behavior continued.
