Acrobat DC (26.001.21529) crashing with eSignatures

I have 2 users who have created fillable forms in Acrobat, and they are trying to set up eSignature and initials fields.  However, when trying to designate fillable fields for initials or signatures, Acrobat crashes without producing an error message.  I’ve seen other posts about this issue, but has it ever been definitively fixed?

Troubleshooting:

• Uninstalled, ran the Adobe cleanup tool, reinstalled

• Disabled the Generative AI

• Disabled Protected Mode

• Deleted the signature files in C:\Users\*username*\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Acrobat\DC\Security

• Signed out of Adobe account and signed back in
