Acrobat DC and Reader

I am making fillable documents for a client using DC. But I’m confused about the process for the client to have a folder of reusable documents, send to her clients for filling , return to her for further filling, sent back to her client for signature creating a locked document.

I’ve been looking and reading, downloaded multiple apps and I’m now overwhelmed.

Can someone please explain how this can be done using Acrobat DC for and Actobat Reader for her??

One should make sure the end customer is using the latest version of Reader since earlier versions will require special form filling rights be applied to the PDF. One result of this is some of the newer features are not available.

When it comes to using forms, Acrobat and Reader have the same capabilities, i.e., filling and saving form data, and signatures, and locking fields.
