Acrobat DC / Create PDF from Powerpoint file / Files not embedded

Hi everyone, perhaps someone will be able to help:

What I am trying to do:

I am trying to convert a Powerpoint to a PDF with clickable links within the file (linking shapes to slides within the same presentation).

What I tried:

• Save as PDF from Powerpoint: Links don't work

• Export as PDF from Powerpoint: Links don't work

• Print as PDF from Powerpoint: Links don't work

• Converting file on smallpdf.com: Links work, but fonts get replaced by bolder fonts.

Using Acrobat Pro DC:

1) Create PDF

2) Selecting my Powerpoint file

3) Create ('Advanced Settings' button is greyed out and can't be clicked on)

The PDF gets created, the links work, BUT all fonts change.

About the Powerpoint file, software and hardware:

• Macbook Pro user (MacOS Monterey)

• Powerpoint 2022 version 16.58

• Acrobat Pro DC Version 2021.011

• Fonts in the document come from Google Fonts

• Fonts are embedded in the PPT file

Questions:

• Is there any way around this?

• I feel I am close to achieve what I want starting from Acrobat Pro DC, but does anyone know how to get the fonts to display properly?

Any help would be much appreciated,

Thank you,

Olivier
