We are sorry for the trouble. As described, the application is installed successfully but doesn't launch.
Do you get any error message when you try to launch the application? If yes, please share the screenshot of the same for a better understanding.
Please try to reboot the computer once and see if that helps.
If it doesn't work please try to create a new test user profile or enable the root account on Mac as described here https://support.apple.com/en-in/HT204012 and try using the application there and check.
If it still doesn't work, please remove the application using the Acrobat cleaner tool https://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html , reboot the computer once and reinstall the application using the link https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-downloads.html
