Acrobat DC does not install on mac

Question

I signed up for Acrobat DC pro trial version last night and have tried to install it 5 or 6 times already. Install process starts and I get the message that Acrobat DC is installed BUT I cannot acces the app because it is nowhere to be found on my computer. In creative cloud, it still shows that the app is not installed. I've tried everything - rebooting the computer, signing in and out of creative cloud, opening the reader and clicking on the pro version, de- and re-installing creative cloud. Don't know what to do anymore. I am working on a macbook pro. Can anyone help?

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble.

Please remove the application using the Acrobat cleaner tool https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/cleaner.html , reboot the computer and reinstall the application using the direct link https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-downloads.html
