Question

Acrobat DC error message after 100% upload PDF to Document Cloud

Ever since I discovered the Document Cloud feature, I've been uploading PDFs from my iMac to be read and worked on on my iPad.

However, some of the files go through all the upload, and after the "verifying viruses..." message, there's another pop-up that says "error trying to access the service" and leaves me with no upload at all.

There's a print screen for the issue below. The language is portuguese but you may still see the box in the inferior right corner of the print screen.

I thank you all for the attention and for providing us users with such a magnificent tool for no cost at all.

Cheers,

Victor

What happens when you upload the file in a browser:

Hi Lacevictor,

Apologies for the trouble caused, as you are experiencing the problem in uploading the file to the document cloud and getting the pop-up message saying "Error trying to access the service". We need some more information for a better understanding.

This usually happens if your browser is configured to use transport layer security (TLS) 1.0/1.1. For more information, you may follow the help article in the link - An error occurred while trying to access the service | unable to connect to PDF services

  • You may try to update the Adobe Acrobat DC to the latest version. Go to Help > Check for updates.
To check the latest version available you may follow the link- DC Release Notes — Release Notes for Acrobat DC Products

  • If you are using internet explorer 8,9,10 enable TLS 1.2 or upgrade it to the latest version.

  • If you are using the Adobe Acrobat Reader mobile app, you may try updating the Application to the latest version from Google Play Store (Andriod) or Apple Store (iPad).

Let us know if that works for you.

Regards,

Amal

Hi Amal,

My Adobe Acrobat Reader DC version is 2019.012.20034, and I'm not using it through the web for I have downloaded the iMac Application.

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to identify a pattern between the rejected and uploaded files. Even though I'm using it directly through desktop, my browser is Chrome.

Also, as Mr. Bernd suggested, neither have I been able to upload the file through the web version. The same file got rejected by both versions.

Thanks for your attention,

Victor

Please try to upload the files with a different web browser.

As the suggestion by "Bernd" also didn't work, it seems to be an issue with the internet connection, try switching the internet connection to alternate connection available like a hotspot, mobile or any other network available.

If that doesn't work, could you please share the file through private message for the testing purpose? To know more about how to send a private message, please follow the link - How Do I Send Private Message
