Trying to export a 60 page PDF to PowerPoint and it's extremely slow.  Took over 15 minutes for the export to finish.  I find that quite excessive.  Running the latest version of Acrobat DC 18.011.20058.

Hello Cschiff,

We're sorry for the trouble you had while converting a PDF to PowerPoint, try exporting the PDF file to Powerpoint through the URL https://cloud.acrobat.com/exportpdf and see if this brings any difference.

For testing purpose, please disable the protected view/enhanced security under Edit>Preferences>Security(enhanced) in Acrobat and try exporting the PDF to PowerPoint.

Note: disabling protected view/enhanced security is for troubleshooting purpose only, please enable it back.

Have you tried exporting any other PDF to PowerPoint and see if the issue is reproducible.

The conversion factor depends on the complexity of the document you're converting (number of pages, content) affect how large a file you can convert. So, even files that are under the 100 MB file-size limit may not convert if they are overly complex.

If the issue is specific to one PDF, Is it possible to share the PDF file with us so that we can test it at our end?

To share the file, please use Adobe Send feature, login to https://cloud.acrobat.com/send using your Adobe ID(email) and password, upload the file, share the link to files via private message only, How Do I Send Private Message

Let us know how it goes and share your observation.

Thanks,

Anand Sri.
