Acrobat DC Extension for Edge and Brave Browsers

I have the same version Acrobat DC Extension installed in the Chrome-based browsers Chrome, Edge, and Brave.   Version 15.3.3.  It works as advertised (free conversions, etc.) in the Chrome browser but in both Edge and Brave (both of which are Chrome-based browsers) when I try to convert a PDF to a JPG, for instance, the extension immediately (in a pop-up panel) asks me to subscribe to one of the cost Acrobat options.  What's the problem?

I assume that, because your Acrobat Pro DC software is a subscription-based licensing, and in order to use some of the editing features provided by the extension, you must be subscribed and current with the payments, the licensing allows you to use Acrobat in two computing devices but not simultaneously.

You must sign off of Acrobat from the computer where you last used Acrobat, for example, then sign in with  your AdobeID in Acrobat in the other computer where you'll be using it.

I am aware that this exactly may have nothing to do with your current issue but I think it is worth noting since,  a connection attempt coming from two or more different web browsers may appear as different computer devices to the receiving end, regardless of originating from the same IP address.

In addition, if you want the extension to interface with your Adobe Acrobat Pro properly you must specify Acrobat as the default PDF handler on each of the web browsers that you installed the this extension.

1. There are no free conversions. You need an Acrobat subscription to convert. If you've found a way that is free, I suggest you keep it quiet and not complain to Adobe.

2. Google make the PDF viewer for Chrome. If you want it to have a search icon, you need to request it from Google. Or use Ctrl+F as normal.

I do not need to CONVERT but I do want to be able to SEARCH/FIND.  The SEARCH/FIND icon (little magnifying glass) seems to be missing in the free Chrome extension.

I see no way to EDIT my previous reply as I can do in other forums. So here is my latest info.  Received email from Adobe telling  me that they plan to close my case (but I don't know which case -I have 2 cases open..)  I do not know the case number of this case.

Here is text from the email sent to me from Adobe:

ALSO, when I open a PDF in my current Chrome browser using the current pdf extension, I do not see any "search" icon.  When I "save as" the same pdf as a pdf and then open it with W10 desktop PC Acrobat DC - I do see the "search" icon (the little magnifying glass).  Why is the search icon missing and how do I search the web pdf?
