Acrobat DC hangs up when replacing a file

I have an issue when I try to replace an existing file with an updated version of the same file DC hangs up.  It will delete the original file, but then the progress bar just hangs up around 20% when it tries to replace it.  Any ideas what this could be?  Thank you for your help,
