Acrobat DC Pro versus Standard Distiller

I understand both Acrobat DC Pro and Standard editions include Acrobat Distiller as one of the components, do both installers install Distiller automatically?

What functionalities are lack in the Distiller that comes with Acrobat Standard edition?
