acrobat dc search does not revisit a page if another has been opened

Do you mean to say that you cannot perform a search if there's another page open in Acrobat? Would you mind elaborating on it a bit more? 

Does one pdf work fine at a time? Please let us know the exact version of Acrobat you are working with.

What I mean is:

I do a search which gives results from more than one file. I click on one option, then later click on another option on another file. If I subsequently want to click on an other option that is on the same file as the first, I am not taken there, it goes to the second again.

I hope that makes sense.
