Acrobat DC won't let me use font installed on my system

I have a PDF that I'm trying to edit, I don't have access to the original (I don't know how it was made).  One of the fonts being used in the PDF is Roboto Condensed Light, which is openly available from Google.  I have both enabled it within Adobe CC and installed it directly on to my system, but it still doesn't show up as an option when editing the PDF.  Some of the variants of Roboto are there, but not all of them.  Is there something else I need to do to be able to use that specific font?

Thanks.

Hey Caitlen,

Sorry for the delay.

I have both enabled it within Adobe CC and installed it directly on to my system, but it still doesn't show up as an option when editing the PDF.  Some of the variants of Roboto are there, but not all of them.  Is there something else I need to do to be able to use that specific font?

Hope you have got your font installed correctly? Here are the detailed steps: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/314960/how-to-install-or-remove-a-font-in-windows

Once done, after installing the font, relaunch Acrobat. You should be able to use the installed font in Acrobat after relaunch.

Still no luck, then Reboot computer.

This is one of my biggest pains as I often use the Roboto Fonts and then they are gibberish if I need a PDF.  I'm going to follow these tips and see if that improves.
