Acrobat DC won't open. Says I need Application Manager but I am using Creative Cloud App. Just re-downloaded and still not working.

uninstall all versions (using the control panel for older versions and using the cc app for acrobat dc).
clean per Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs
restart your computer
reinstall acrobat dc using your cc app.
