Acrobat does not want to open anymore

Since a couple of weeks Acrobat does not want to open anymore. I get the message: 'App Adobe Acrobat cannot be opened' and right away a new pop up: Adobe Acrobat stopped unexpectedly'. I have no clue what to do. Any suggestions? ( I have a memebership Creative Cloud with Adobe)

Also tried to uninstall but then I get this pop up:

'The selected application is not a valid Acrobat-application for this uninstall-program. Caary out the uninstall-program again."

Yeah, right, for what purpose, it keeps on doing the same.

Hope someone has a solution?
