Acrobat Fails To "Ignore Future Errors"

In trying to recognize text in a pdf file, Acrobat (current version for Mac as of 6/2024), I geet an error message about 'wrong parameter supplied to a PDS procedure). I check the box to "Ignore future errors in this document" but Acrobat repeats the same message on the next page. Why doesn't Acrobat "obey" it's own instruction to "ignore." Most annoying. Any ideas?

Hi there

Hope you are doing well.

Is this an issue with a partiular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check.

Have you created this PDF file or have you got it from a different user?

Please go through a correct answer marked in the similar discussion (https://adobe.ly/3RT14Gz) and see if that works.

The issue occurs with multiple but not all pdf files.

There is not a specific pattern. However, the error has occurred with a few - but not all - filed downloaded from Internet Archive (https://archive.org/). See below for a screenshot of one Document Properties.

Also see below for the error message that crops up. When checking the Ignore Future Errors, the OCR scan repeats the same error message for each and every page, and Acrobat fails to follow the ‘instruction’ to ‘ignore.’

The procedure described in the “similar discussion” does not seem to apply as I’m not working with any sort of ‘form.’

Hi there

We are sorry to hear that.

Would you mind sharing the PDF file in question so we can check it at our end, for further investigation.
