Acrobat Font Pairing Problem in Hindi Language Edit

There is a big problem in Adobe Acrobat right now and that problem is related to Hindi language editing. Whenever we edit a sentence or word written in Hindi, its font pairing gets mismatched and goes backwards and then all the words get messed up... Test it and fix this problem because it is not able to manage the Hindi test properly, whereas Nitro Pro does it perfectly... Please fix Font Pairing.

@Abhishek Ravi have you thought of changing the computer's language to Hindi to test if that changes the issues? Also, you can add Hindi in the Languages of Acrobat Preferences too.

Whenever we edit a document written in Hindi in edit mode, it does not get set correctly in pairing while writing and this happens with all laptops and PCs. This needs to be fixed.

You may try the following suggestions: 

Please ensure you have the latest version of Acrobat installed on the machine: 25.001.20458 Planned update, Apr 15, 2025. Check for any pending updates from the Menu > help > check for updates, install the updates, restart the app and the machine. For more information, see this: https://adobe.ly/3Y9oYkw.

 

Set your computer's language to Hindi and add Hindi in the Languages section of Acrobat Preferences. Go to Menu > Preferences (or press Ctrl+k). Select Languages and add Hindi. Ensure that fonts are embedded in the PDF. This can prevent font pairing issues when editing. Go to File > Properties.

Workaround: Use OCR + Copy Method (for Static PDFs): Use Scan & OCR > Recognise Text. Then copy the Hindi text and paste/edit it in a Word processor like MS Word or Google Docs (which handles Hindi properly). Re-export to PDF.
