Acrobat for virtual machine

Hi!

When installing Adobe Acrobat 2017 on non-persistent virtual machines (Wmware Horizon 8), the license is lost. The licenses we have are not by volume. Is there a way to install Acrobat on non-persistent VDIs with the current license or is it mandatory to use a volume license?

Greetings.

Retail subscription licenses are licensed per user, by the user signing in. Clearly, they will have to sign in every time in non-volatile VMs. But for perpetual licenses: the license is assigned to the machine, for use solely by the user whose Adobe id activated it. This is an "activation": at most two are permitted for a license, though Adobe may agree to a reset if contacted by the licensed user (nobody else). But they will soon tire of this, in your environment. Enterprise licensing may have other options, but this may still be impractical.
