Acrobat Form Issue

For some reason on a pdf form I have been using for months each field in the form gets a dark blue box and an option box opens to enter text (which is greyed out) or request an e signature when I click on it. Shown below. Normally I could just click on a field and enter text.

Thank you for your patience so far, and sorry about the delay on this.

 

The issue has been resolved. Please reboot the machine and then relaunch Acrobat.

Then, wait for some time and try to fill out the forms again.

This is a bug in the latest version of Acrobat and Reader. We are all waiting for Adobe to solve it...

I have the exact same issue. This is very recent, maybe a few days ago. Can't find any help on how to revert it back to filling the form. Seems like a new update messed this up. @Adobe some help would really be appreciated. Thank you.
