Acrobat freezes when trying to add a signature

Hi, 

Every time I try to add a signature to a document using fill & sign, Adobe Acrobat freezes indefinately. My software is up to date and I'm running the most recent version of Mac OS X. I have searched the community forums and found many people having the same problem with no solutions. 

I have tried contacting support by chat and by phone multiple times and have also found no solutions. 

Adobe Acrobat is an expensive, subscription based software. I am trying to do a very simple action. I am incredibly frustrated and dissapointed in Adobe. For my sake and for everyone else who is paying for this software and unable to do a simple task, you need to find an immediate and permanent solution. Thank you.
