acrobat freezing

Hope you are doing well and sorry to hear about the trouble you’re experiencing with Acrobat Pro freezing when adding a visible signature. This can sometimes happen due to outdated application versions, corrupt preferences, or issues with the digital signature appearance settings.

Here are a few steps you can try and see if that works:

• Update Acrobat Pro – What is the version of the Acrobat application you are using? Go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure its updated to the latest version 25.01.20623. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.
  
  
• Reset Preferences – Please try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described here https://adobe.ly/45kbOoR 
  
  
• Disable Protected Mode (for testing) – Edit > Preferences > Security (Enhanced) > Uncheck “Enable Protected Mode at startup.” Restart Acrobat and test again. (If this fixes it, re-enable afterwards for security and review plug-ins or security settings.)
