When using the editing feature of Acrobat DC on a PDF, every now and then it will freeze up and go black. I've attached the logs of what was happening.

    Hey Richard!

Thank you for reaching out and sorry for the delay in response.

As per your description above, the Acrobat freezes and goes black on using the editing feature. Please ensure that the application is updated to the latest version. Also, try repairing the installation.

You may refer to this link https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/release-note/release-notes-acrobat-reader.html to check the latest version available for Acrobat.

If the above steps do not help, try the troubleshooting steps provided in the following help documents.

    For Windows: https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/troubleshoot-system-errors-freezes-windows.html

    For Mac: https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/troubleshoot-system-errors-freezes-mac.html

    Check if that helps.

Let us know if the issue still occurs.

    Thanks,

    Meenakshi

Unfortunately, this didn't work. I had followed most of the troubleshooting beforehand. Adobe is updated to the most recent version. I have attempted to repair, uninstall/reinstall, Disabling add-ins, and most everything else found in the troubleshooting section. I was attempting to Recreate the Adobe Application Preferences but was unable to find the correct pathway. I was unable to locate the AppData file. Do you have an updated file pathway?
