Question

Acrobat is opening on the wrong screen and maximized

It used to open on the correct screen and not maximized and suddenly it's on the wrong screen, maximized, and when I switch to non-maximized, the PDF window title goes way off the screen, so I can't grab it. I figured out the ALT+Space+M to move it with the keyboard and then put it on the correct monitor, but every time I open another PDF, it's again on the wrong side and full screen. I was able to get it to stop changing to be so large that the top is off the screen, but I can't get it to appear on the correct monitor and non-maximized.

My resolution and display settings are perfect as is and were not altered prior to this issue. The correct monitor is on the correct side. This never happened before and suddenly started happening this morning without me changing any settings and now it will not let me set this to the correct side and to NOT appear maximized.

Press Ctrl + k and examine the settings in the Full Screen and Page Display categories.

Hi @Javed36508819lf4p,

Hope you are doing well. Thanks for writing in!

You might want to check the application's preferences to see if the option "Which screen to use" has been set to a different monitor. [Screenshot attached below]

While you do so, a method to change the size and position of a non-maximized window would be to double-click the title bar with the mouse and then drag the window to the desired position. Once dragged, you can resize the window through the dragger, too.

Hope this helps.
