Question

Acrobat is performing unwanted jumping back to the start of a document in organise pages.

When using organise pages in Acrobat to extract some pages, once the extraction is done and the extracted pages are closed, when you click back onto any page in the original document, acrobat grabs that page and jumps back to the top of the doc and drops the page wherever the cursor is.

Only started happening with the latest update, never been an issue before, and it’s incredibly annoying when trying to extract a series of pages from a long document, as it effectively moves pages around.

Same problem here. And version is newer.  Current versions:

    Acrobat Pro 64-bit v2026.001.21431

    Windows 11 Pro 25H2

Is there any ETA on when this bug is being fixed?  Have any of others that have experienced it found a solution?

    Hi Lance219324854a5p,

Thank you for reaching out, and sorry for the trouble caused.

Please try to repair the installation once. In Acrobat, go to Menu > Help > Repair Installation. Ensure there is no pending update available. You may check that from Menu > Help > Check for updates.

If the issue persists, please share a short video showing the steps you take and what happens. We will get this behaviour checked. Additionally, share the Acrobat and OS version numbers currently in use.

Let us know how it goes.

    Thanks,

    Meenakshi

Our entire team is experiencing this issue, too. I regard the issue OP cites as related to a ‘selection’ of the first page that should not be occurring when on a later page and clicking Organize Pages.

**See attached video demonstrating the issue** Acrobat + OS version seen within the video and also pasting this below:

    Acrobat Pro 64-bit (Version 2026.001.21411)

    Windows 11 Pro (25H2)
