Acrobat is unfit for purpose
Acrobat is totally broken. Try opening a simple four page press quality PDF and it will glitch out images, stall, and eventually hang/crash. Laughable if not maddeningly frustrating. It is utterly unusable in it's current state. Tried every update, downgrade, patch, resetting preferences, unchecking & rechecking preferences…all to no avail. I've resorted to opening pre-press PDFs in Firefox, which opens thing without a hitch.
A joke of a product. Sort it out, Adobe.
